Have you got what it takes?
Members of the Alresford Pigs are local people who wish to do something to help their local community. We raise money throughout the year and donate to groups and individuals who need our support. We are always looking for new members and currently membership totals around 25.
We run a number of fund raising events throughout the year, and also have an active social calendar which partners and families are welcome.
Monthly meetings are held to manage the various events and to keep
members up to date. Meetings are on the second Thursday of each month
and held in Alresford, starting at 7:30 p.m. and usually finishing
around 9:00 p.m. To ensure that there is an good mix of business and
pleasure, following each meeting there is a meal at a pub or restaurant
in and around Alresford. There is a fixed cost for the monthly meal,
which is only payable by those members eating.
The November meeting is an Extraordinary Annual General Meeting, where
the committee for the following year is elected. There is no meeting in
December; instead there is a Ladies Evening, typically a black-tie
event.
We have a small annual subscription (currently £25) which is payable at
the start of each year.
