Father Christmas
For many years the Pigs have assisted the Alresford Christmas Tree Committee with the safe arrival of Father Christmas into Alresford. His arrival is kept a great secret even from other members of the Sty. Themes change from year to year but we can always guarantee that he will arrive. His arrival coincides with caroils around the Christmas tree in Broad Street. Even during poor weather there is often a magical atmosphere with hundreds of local residents joining in the fun.
