Christmas Trees
Every year the Pigs assist the Town Council with their Christmas festivities by putting up Christmas trees on the shops and households in and around Broad Street and West Street. The erection of the towns Christmas trees is a two day event. We string the trees with bulbs often passed down to us from Winchester City Council mid week ready for delivery and siting on a given Saturday towards the end of November. The Saturday will see most of the Sty out in small teams strapping trees to local shops. It's a fun and rewarding day especially when you see the effec of our efforts closer to Christmas. Alresford can really look very spectacular around the Christmas period and we like to think that we play our part.
