For many years the Alresford Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Alresford Pigs Association have organised the erection of Christmas trees above shops and houses within the main shopping area of Alresford. The decorated trees help create a fabulous festival atmosphere that the residents and everyone who visits Alresford can enjoy. This year we are hoping to increase the number of businesses and private residents who agree to have a tree hung outside their premises.

The Christmas trees are erected by the Alresford Pigs Association on behalf of the Alresford Chamber of Commerce and as a result a percentage of the price will go to local needy causes - especially relevant over the Christmas period.

The trees are also erected and taken down and then recycled without your involvement. There are three bulb replacement runs carried out over the Christmas and New Year period. This year there will be a christmas tree hotline available as well as an opportunity to locate or relocate hooks free of charge.

The cost to have a tree and this service is £43.00.
